Promoting Self-Regulation through Co-Regulation in the Early Years
Ursula Krystek-Walton (Head of Early Years at Bertram Nursery Group) was our popular guest speaker at Salford's EY Wellbeing Event (March 2021).
Ursula provided an inspiring introduction to early brain development, clearly explaining how the growing knowledge in the area of neuroscience can be used to support children’s self -regulation, learning and emotional development. Ursula shared her top tips and experience in developing an engaging learning environment, self-regulation spaces, supportive behaviour policies and strategies for managing emotional moments.
